Course topics include defining the supervisor’s role, team building, verbal communications, written communications, performance management, labour relations, safety, production management, planning and scheduling, tool and material management, understanding costs and much more. These courses are part of the requirements towards our Gold Seal Certification.

Sasco supervisors completed their Health and Safety Supervisor Training, to learn how to recognize hazards and take effective preventive actions to prevent injuries and foster a safety culture at your workplace. The course focuses on knowing your responsibilities as a supervisor and what that entails in satisfying legislated health and safety requirements.
Sasco will be part of the team that is replacing aged electrical infrastructure at one of the largest integrated office complexes in Canada, the Bentall Centre Office Tower Complex. Multiple transfer switches in multiple towers will be replaced during after-hours and coordinated by the Sasco team.
Sasco employees decided to help out a family in need this summer. Due to a medical complication and subsequent amputation, the mother lost both of her hands and both feet. Sasco helped out with the purchase and fittings of the prosthesis that will assist her in her recovery and quality of life.
Sasco is pleased to again be the electrical contractor of choice in upgrading existing fire alarm systems at UBC. This time we will be replacing the existing system at Brock Hall and the Asian Centre.

Sasco was the successful proponent in response to British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT)’s ITT for a full fire alarm upgrade at buildings SW09 and SE01. We are looking forward to completing another successful project for long-time customer BCIT.
Long-time customer Cadillac Fairview’s latest capital expense project is a Lighting Control Upgrade at one of its premier properties in downtown Vancouver – The HSBC Building at 885 West Georgia. Sasco is pleased to be the contractor of choice in completing this project for the team at Cadillac Fairview. Estimated completion is spring of 2017.
